Butler County Brewing Society Member Code of Conduct

All Members of the Butler County Brewing Society agree to comply with the following Code of Conduct as a condition of their membership. Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct will result in a review of the individual’s membership and may result in temporary suspension of membership or privileges, expulsion, or in the case of damage, seeking of restitution, as defined in ARTICLE II, SECTION 10 of the Club Bylaws.

  1. Members must be 21 years of age or older.
  2. Members will obey all federal, state, and local laws regarding the consumption, production,distribution and use of alcohol.
  3. Members will only consume samples of homebrew at Club events within the designatedlocations and at designated times. At the conclusion of the event, Members will consume, sealor dispose of all samples prior to leaving the event location.
  4. Members who are intoxicated or otherwise impared at Club events will, when asked, surrendertheir keys and permit arrangements for a ride or designated driver to be made.
  5. Members exhibiting violent behavior, abusive language, intoxication or unbecoming/unrulyconduct during Club events will be expelled from the event and may be subject to furtherdisciplinary action as deemed necessary by the Board.
  6. Members will respect the property, rules, staff, hosts & guests at all Club activities before, duringand after all activities.
  7. In the event of a public health emergency, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, members willcomply with all public health ordinances issued by government authorities and related guidelines issued by the Board.
